care built on understanding

i’ve always believed there was more to the story…

Long before I became a naturopathic doctor, I was drawn to understanding the body at a deeper level — not just what was happening, but why.

In college, I became especially interested in nutrition and how it could influence everything from daily function to gene expression. That curiosity stayed with me — the idea that the body is constantly responding to what we do, what we eat, and what we’re exposed to.

Choosing naturopathic medicine wasn’t a pivot.
It was a decision to fully commit to understanding the body in a more complete way — and to practice medicine that reflects that.

a more complete way to practice medicine

My approach is rooted in both naturopathic principles and modern standards of care — combining clinical training with a deeper, systems-based understanding of the body.

I work with patients who want to understand what's actually driving their symptoms — not just name them.

care is individualized and built through a combination of:

functional lab testing

clinical experience

ongoing adjustment based on how your body responds

Treatment may include nutrition and lifestyle support, botanical medicine, nutraceuticals, hormone therapy, pharmaceuticals, and advanced therapies when appropriate.

the goal is to create care that is not only effective — but clear, sustainable and specific to you.

why this work matters to me

I've seen what happens when people are given answers that don't actually explain anything. A number that's "in range." A plan that addresses one piece but misses the pattern.

Over time, that creates frustration — and a disconnect from their own body.

my goal is to change that experience.

I want patients to understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what actually has the potential to shift it — so they can make informed decisions and feel more in control of their health.

Because when care is clear, it becomes easier to trust — and more likely to work.

what I bring into every visit

one of the things that comes most naturally to me is identifying patterns.

A woman with long dark hair, wearing a white suit and black high-heeled sandals, sitting on a black chair, holding a stethoscope, in a room with a white wall and wooden floor. There is a small round wooden table beside her with books on health and medicine.

Whether it’s something related to diet, lifestyle, environment, or behavior — I’m often able to pinpoint where things may be off, even when it feels complex or overwhelming.

I also enjoy connection — asking questions, sitting with the complexity of someone's story, working through it together.

There’s a moment in many visits where everything can feel like a lot — symptoms, labs, uncertainty. And while I understand how overwhelming that can be, I also see possibility in it.

Because once we understand the full picture, we’re able to forge a clear path forward.

who i work with

My primary focus is women navigating complex, multi-system health concerns — from adolescence through menopause. Common areas include hormonal health, gut and microbiome function, cardiometabolic health, chronic inflammation, and skin conditions.

practice and background

I earned my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University, where I trained in both primary care and integrative medicine.

After graduation, I completed a two-year residency at the Institute of Complementary Medicine in Seattle, which is where I continue to practice today.

My background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Washington State University, and I stay connected to ongoing education through organizations like the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians, GastroANP, and LearnSkin.

I’m also a certified Biote provider and incorporate hormone replacement therapy into care when appropriate, alongside other treatment approaches.

I offer both in-person and telemedicine visits, so care can feel accessible and realistic depending on what you need.

My work spans both primary care and more complex, chronic conditions — with a strong focus on prevention, education, and long-term health.

The first appointment is a comprehensive intake — time set aside to understand your full history, what you've tried, and where you want to go. From there, everything is built around you.
